Tandem Group is gearing up for the anticipated September launch of an all-new range of Hoy junior bikes, developed in close collaboration with cycling legend Sir Chris Hoy.
Tandem, known for offering industry-leading warranty on its children’s bike brand, has channelled significant expertise into creating this eight-model collection, which has been “designed to elevate expectations in the junior bikes category”.
Led by Dan Orton, head of bikes category at Tandem Group, the range is the result of a comprehensive research and development programme. Each bike “blends lightweight construction, standout styling, and carefully considered details, all hallmarks of Tandem’s commitment to performance and quality”.
The Hoy bike range will start with an early rider 12” balance bike and top out with a 26” junior bike, with the brand emphasizing “every model engineered to offer a superior riding experience”.
As we’ve come to expect in the highly competitive children’s bike sector, key features will include size-appropriate handlebars, treaded MTB style tyres, and disc brakes throughout the range, all aimed at offering “control, comfort, and confidence for young riders”.
Sir Chris Hoy commented, “I’m genuinely thrilled with how the bikes are shaping up. Peter, Dan and the Tandem team have done a brilliant job turning my vision into reality. We’ve placed so much thought into every element of these bikes”.
The first production samples of Hoy bikes are scheduled to arrive this month, following enthusiastic feedback from dealers. The business points out that “early orders are already being placed, signalling strong trade confidence ahead of the full launch in September”.
Tandem has also confirmed the range will be supported by a comprehensive, extended warranty, seen as “a reflection of the high standards built into every bike”.
With the arrival of the first bikes now underway, Tandem anticipate Hoy junior bikes to be one of the most exciting junior bike launches of the year.
