Evans Cycles opens new Southampton store as expansion continues

Evans Cycles has opened the doors to its latest store, located in Southampton, marking another milestone in the brand’s ongoing nationwide expansion.

The new 4,700 sq. ft. site in Southampton features a fully-equipped service centre and a 150-bike showroom spanning road, mountain, gravel, kids’ and e-bikes. Riders will find industry-leading brands including Specialized, Vitus, Cube, Brompton, Rapha and dhb.

Following recent openings in Bristol and Sheffield, and with a new York store set to launch later this month, this move “underlines Evans Cycles’ commitment to making expert cycling advice and quality product support more accessible across the UK”.

Robert Bentley, Managing Director at Evans Cycles, said: “We’re thrilled to be opening our doors to a city with such a vibrant cycling community and a passion for life on two wheels. Investing in physical retail remains central to our strategy.

Bentley added: “Riders value the chance to speak to a knowledgeable expert and get hands-on before making a decision. Opening in new locations allows us to support more cyclists while offering an unbeatable selection from the world’s best bike brands. We’re proud to welcome Southampton into the Evans Cycles family.”

With the train station in close proximity, Evans Cycles Southampton can be found at Frobisher House, Nelson Gate, Southampton, SO15 1GX. The store offers a range of finance options, a government-backed Ride to Works scheme and a click and collect facility from the brand website.
