Push.bike announces two new senior hires

Push.bike, the UK‑based SaaS platform powering bicycle e‑commerce for independent retailers and brands, has announced two senior appointments to accelerate its market growth: Luke Hardacre joins as Head of Growth & Brand and Dave Hutchinson as Digital Marketing Manager.

The company says these strategic hires reinforce their dedication to “blending industry expertise with genuine cycling passion, as the company continues to expand its footprint across Europe and beyond.”

They will be joining forces with Steve Cole, former Sales Director at Specialized and one of the UK cycling industry’s most respected commercial operators, who has worked with Push. over the past three years.

Luke Hardacre

Luke Hardacre, Head of Growth & Brand

Originally from Australia, Luke brings a wealth of experience in building and scaling B2C lifestyle brands. He most recently led marketing for a direct-to-consumer surfing start-up, building content-led systems that connected storytelling, automation, and community to drive meaningful growth. With a background in full-funnel strategy and performance-driven brand building, Luke says:

I’m a great lover of the outdoors, whether in the water, the mountains or the forests. Having come from a surfing background, I saw first‑hand how the culture and tribal nature of customers mirrors that of the cycling community. When Push. approached me, I was genuinely excited to bring my experience to a platform that shares my passion for adventure and performance.

Dave Hutchison

Dave Hutchinson, Digital Marketing Manager

With over twenty years of road‑racing experience and a strong background in e‑commerce, Dave most recently held the role of e-commerce marketing manager at a well-established online retailer. His expertise lies in paid acquisition, CRO and customer journey optimisation—skills he’s honed over years of hands-on digital performance work. Reflecting on his move to Push., Dave comments:

I’ve always wanted to work in cycling. Although I’ve worked in some great e‑commerce businesses, nothing compares to contributing directly to a sport that’s played such a big role in my life. Joining Push. allows me to apply what I’ve learned professionally to a space I’m personally passionate about. It’s a rare and exciting opportunity.

Strategic Impact on Push. and Retail Partners

Working alongside Steve Cole, Luke and Dave will drive Push.’s business forward and collaborate closely with retailers to foster their growth. Our Performance Marketing and Push. Connect customers will see immediate benefits from Dave’s optimisation expertise, while Luke will develop marketing best practices and help spec new marketing tools. Together, they will shape the continued success of all Push. customers, ensuring the platform delivers ever‑more powerful and effective solutions for the cycling industry.

Luke and Dave are the perfect additions to our leadership team. Their complementary skill sets, Luke’s mastery of brand growth and Dave’s performance-driven approach, are crucial as we scale our platform to meet the evolving needs of the cycling industry. Their work will not only strengthen Push.’s market position but also empower our retail partners to achieve lasting success – Matthew Power, Co‑Founder of Push.
