4iiii announces partnership with BMC Factory Racing

Canadian business 4iiii Innovations Inc., known for its crank-based power meters, has announced a new partnership with BMC Factory Racing.

The partnership, which builds on the established OEM relationship between 4iiii and BMC, “reinforces 4iiii’s commitment to providing elite athletes with industry-leading performance technology”.

BMC Factory Racing has set out to position itself “as one of the leading XC racing teams globally” – in practice, this means the team is “driven by a vision to inspire the next generation of cross-country mountain bike racers through excellence in performance, communication, and organization”.

Commenting on the announcement, said Amaël Moinard, BMC Factory Racing Team manager, states: “Partnering with 4iiii aligns perfectly with our commitment to performance and quality. We are excited to work with 4iiii and leverage their technology to support our athletes’ ambitions in 2025 and beyond.”

Team recruitment

Led by Jordan Sarrou and Titouan Carod, the team’s 2025 roster has been further strengthened by the addition of Loana Lecomte, one of the most accomplished female riders in the sport.

With multiple World Cup victories to her credit, Lecomte’s presence will further amplify BMC Factory Racing’s quest for success on the international stage.

The new partnership will see 4iiii become an equipment supplier to the team, providing their Precision 3+ PRO Powermeters across all team bikes for the 2025 season.

Launched in February 2024, the Precision 3+ PRO Powermeter is positioned as 4iiii’s most advanced power meter to date, offering “dual-sided power metrics, accurate data within +/-1% using patented 3D strain gauge technology, automatic terrain selection, a robust battery life (up to 550 hours), and Apple Find My integration”.

With the Precision 3+ PRO, “the inclusion of left/right balance, pedalling efficiency and torque effectiveness seeks to provide an even more detailed training and performance experience”.
