Silca, known for its marginal gains approach and dedication to precision, has announced the launch of a new advanced formula, Synergetic Race Grease.
Synergetic Race Grease has been designed to elevate the performance and longevity of modern bicycles.
Building on the success of their award-winning Synergetic Chain Lubricant, Synergetic Race Grease represents a new echelon of lubrication, combining the low-friction properties of oil-based lubricants with the pressure capabilities and wear resistance of thicker assembly greases.
Key benefits Silca claims for the Synergetic Race Grease include:
- Up to 50% Reduction in Friction: Improves mechanical efficiency in bearings and bushings.
- Up to 90% Reduction in Wear: Extends the operational life of precision components.
- Extreme Load Stability: Resists displacement under heavy use, reducing maintenance intervals.
- Friction Characteristics: Optimised for both sliding and rotational surfaces.
- Torque Control: Enables consistent clamping forces without over-tightening when used as assembly grease.
- Formulation Purity: Free of unnecessary dyes or additives that could compromise interface integrity.
- Made in the USA.
This “pro-level grease” is engineered utilising the same Type-V ultra-synthetic oil base used in Synergetic Chain Lube, thickened into a grease using the synthetic wax technology from SpeedChip, paired with the low-friction, nanoscale WS2 additive package used in both.
The resulting low viscosity grease offers uncompromising performance for bearings, bushings, suspension pivots, threaded assemblies, and press-fit interfaces.
At launch, Richard Pool, Marketing Director at Silca, comments: “We are driven by a passion for performance and a commitment to providing cyclists with the highest quality tools, lubricants, and bike care products.
“Synergetic Race Grease provides top-tier friction reduction in bearings without the compromise on longevity that other race-specific greases have – helping to round out our product lineup, extending the Silca holistic approach.”
In the UK, Silca is distributed by Saddleback.
