Saracen Bikes named as Bike Ranch Snowdonia title sponsor

Bike Ranch Snowdonia has a new title sponsor with Saracen Bikes, enabling visitors to experience a variety of ride options as part of a dedicated demo centre partnership.

In sharing the news, the team behind the bike brand point out that they “identified Bike Ranch Snowdonia as a key demo location for a range of Saracen bikes”.

The partnership is also said to be reflective of “Saracen’s commitment to supporting the mountain bike community” and a key part of the brand’s goal to “give as many riders as possible the chance to demo a Saracen bike”.

As a British brand, Saracen has been raced on the international stage, with multiple downhill world championship and world cup victories to its name over the years. Naturally enough, the brand points out that insight from elite level racing success has “been applied to every model in the range so every Saracen owner gets a bike that they love and can trust”.

Demo bike options for trail and rider types

Visitors will find the CR2 and CR3 from the Dirt Jump Range – perfect to demo on the exclusive-for-guests purpose-built jumps line on site.

With Coed-y-Brenin forest right on the doorstep, the Ariel 30 and Ariel 60 are available for some Enduro test rides, and lastly, but by no means least, the Mantra is a perfectly formed hardtail for the entry level and experienced riders alike.

Bike Ranch Snowdonia is the first e-Bike demo centre in Wales that can offer demos of a full range of Saracen E-bikes, from the Ariel 50E, through the Ariel 50E Pro and the Ariel 50E Elite. In a range of sizes from S to XL, there is a Saracen E-bike here for you to try.

Tim Baily, owner of Bike Ranch Snowdonia, comments: “Having a fleet of Saracen bikes here at Bike Ranch is the next natural step for us.

Location. Location. Accommodation

Bike Ranch Snowdonia, based in South Snowdonia, is “situated in the middle of the best riding North Wales has to offer”, with fellow Saracen demo centre Antur Stiniog Downhill Centre only 20 minutes up the road.

The Bike Ranch Snowdonia site has been developed to provide a range of accommodation options to suit all budgets, as well as offering bespoke MTB package holidays.

Accommodation ranges from camping, which opens on Friday, April 4, to the Jumps View Pod and the flagship Hayloft Barn that can be booked as catered or self-catered. On offer to guests are courses and trail guiding through partners PedalMTB as well as transported and supported rides on routes such as the Traws Eryri.

Also onsite is a secure container bike store, fitted with the impressive Stashed Rail System, a dedicated bike wash area and the purpose-built Jumps Line.

Built by local riders and sculpted by some of the same people who help create RedBull Hardline, “these jumps are not only built well, but guarantee fun and progression” with “the line purposely kept short to give lots of repetition in a safe and relaxed environment.”

Speaking about the new partnership, Aled Gamble, marketing manager at Saracen, comments, “Tim and Pip have created something really special for the mountain bike community, and we hope this partnership helps the ranch to grow and give riders a fantastic place to stay for many years to come.

Booking accommodation and demo bikes

Visitors can pre book their stay at Saracen Bike Ranch as well as highlight interest in booking a demo bike – all through the same booking system.

A range of accommodation options are available, from the renovated Hayloft barn with sociable living space and exclusive drying room to the Jumps View Pod and Campsite – suitable for tents and small campervans.

Opting for a catered stay in the Hayloft Barn also offers a range of hearty meal options to fuel and refuel riding adventures.
