Apidura shares 2024 Impact Report

Apidura, a business which marches very much to its own drumbeat, has shared details from its 2024 Impact Report.

The brand, a pioneer in the bikepacking space, champion of ‘designed for repair’, and vocal advocate for doing business sustainably, with ‘No seasonality. No discounts’ a business-defining motto, has influenced and shaped the landscape for others looking for new ways to build an enduring business, with sustainability at it core.

In sharing the 2024 Impact Report, the business states, “We believe in holding ourselves to the highest standards in all aspects of our business, never settling for the minimum. In 2024, our entire team became certified Carbon Literate, and as an organisation, we’ve achieved bronze-level certification. In addition, we broadened our commitments through industry groups that work towards better practices in cycling and beyond.”

Reducing product impact

In 2023, the business introduced its product impact estimations to the Apidura website, helping riders make informed decisions.

Incremental changes in how Apidura designs, sources, and develops products – those which allow the business to reduce the impact of its packs over time whilst subtly enhancing performance – have meant that the CO2e impact of its products continues to decline whilst at the same time enhancing real-world product performance.

Using fewer resources

In 2024, Apidura successfully developed and tested a new lower resource-intensive fabric alternative, which will launch at scale across the business’s flagship Expedition Series in 2025.

Committed to change

As a business, Apidura believes in holding itself to the highest standards in all aspects of our business; never settling for the minimum.

In 2024, the entire team became certified Carbon Literate, and as an organisation, Apidura achieved bronze-level certification. In addition, the business broadened its commitments through industry groups that work towards better practices in cycling and beyond.

Ambassadors of values

Apidura works with riders who value innovation and embody the very spirit of Built to Last. The business sees this as a living, breathing embodiment of its values: The impact the business has is not just limited to product and wider communities.

As bikepacking becomes a globally recognised, inclusive, and low-impact sport, the brand also continues to support events that hold sustainable, accessible, and community-focused practices at their heart.
