Full Time Sales Assistant – Twelve50 Bikes Ltd

Full time sales assistant required for our busy cycle shop in Frodsham, Cheshire. Twelve50 Bikes is an established independent bike shop in Frodsham, Cheshire. We stock Mountain, Road, Gravel and E-Bikes from Santa Cruz, Cube, Whyte and Merida, alongside a comprehensive range of parts, accessories and clothing.

We have an exciting opportunity for a full time sales assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a keen cyclist, with an excellent level of knowledge in not only bikes but parts, accessories and clothing. The applicant must be enthusiastic, self motivated, organised and pride themselves on producing work to a high standard. You will have a polite manner and understand the importance of providing a first class customer service experience, whilst maximising sales opportunities. A strong product knowledge is important, as is keeping up to date with new industry standards.

Good computer literacy and written skills are important and previous cycle industry experience would be beneficial, though not essential. You will be working five days a week, Tuesday to Saturday, based on a 40 hour week. Weekend working will be required. Previous retail experience would be a bonus but is not essential. We offer competitive salary, dependent on experience, generous staff purchase scheme and further training if required.

Travel Coordinator/Customer Service Specialist – Love Velo

We currently send away over 3000 cyclists per year to over 30 countries around the world and have significant expansion plans over the next 12 months. As part of our continued success and our ambitious growth plans we are looking for a talented Travel Coordinator / Customer Service Specialist to join our team and play a pivotal role in the next stage of our company’s development and help us to continue to develop as one of the world’s leading cycling travel companies.

You will be responsible for all aspects of post sales booking support, with a particular focus on post sales bookings. Your key responsibility will be booking hotels, bikes and transfers and liaising with our suppliers. You will also deal with post sales amendments and booking changes.

On a daily basis you will be speaking to customers and suppliers making changes to bookings, resolving frontline issues, taking payments and ensuring all elements of a booking are fully confirmed. Working in a fast paced and challenging environment you will always offer a fantastic level of service encouraging customer loyalty and ensuring the Love Velo brand values are represented at all times.

Experienced Mechanic – The London Cycle Workshop

The London Cycle Workshop is the most established independently owned service & repair business in London with four locations. If you want to join a growing company with a great reputation and passion for all things bicycle, then read on. We are inviting experienced mechanics to apply to join our team. We have four shops around South-West and West London and are looking for staff to fill mechanics vacancies in our Hammersmith and East Sheen shops.

We specialise in servicing and repairs and don’t sell bikes. We do stock a wide range of parts and accessories and expect applicants to have a thorough knowledge of both along with an understanding of how to identify and where to source spare parts. Due to our reputation for high quality workmanship, we attract a wide variety of bikes and thanks to our fantastic team, are rarely unable to offer repair solutions to our customers. We have a can-do attitude and put strong customer service at the heart of everything we do. Candidates are required to have at least three years working as a full time mechanic in a retail environment.

The shops are currently open 9am to 6pm Monday to Saturday. Sunday is for cycling. Most staff work five days a week and alternate Saturdays. A full-time working week is 45 hours, however hours are flexible to accommodate the right candidates. All our staff work as mechanics, although working on the shop floor and serving customers is part of the role too.

Marketing Executive – Oxford Products

As a result of our expanding business, we have established a new position within the marketing department. This executive role will aid the marketing manager and the broader creative team. It carries a particular emphasis on managing social media, press relations, and coordinating events. The role offers a diverse range of responsibilities with promising opportunities for career advancement. This role is full-time and based at the Oxford Products ‘Design, Research, and Development Centre’ (DRDC) in Witney, Oxfordshire.

Specific duties include: Assist with creating great social media content for a range of platforms including Facebook and Instagram, ensuring it is high quality, relevant and engaging, support the marketing manager with day-to-day content planning, creation, scheduling and monitoring, assist the team with events, build up and  break down of events. During these events, you’ll be the face of Oxford. These will be a mixture of on and off-site.

A relevant degree or experience within a marketing role is desired. You will be self-sufficient, motivated and proactive approach to work. Non-essential but desired skills include: strong written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, a full clean driving licence, a love of motorbikes and/or cycle, and the ability/experience creating social media content – video, shorts, reels and photos.

Ultimately, you are accountable for everything that happens within the store and the reputation you develop beyond it.
