Cycling Industries Europe appoints Paul Walsh as new CEO

Cycling Industries Europe (CIE) has announced the appointment of Paul Walsh as its new Chief Executive Officer.

In their announcement, CIE said Walsh brings over 12 years of industry association management experience, with positions in aviation and research and innovation associations.

Paul brings the expertise, the energy, and the strategic insights from the Brussels bubble needed to take CIE to the next level and represent our industry. We are confident that under his direction, CIE will continue to grow as the trusted voice of the cycling industry at the European level. As CEO, CIE says Walsh will continue to lead CIE through its next phase of growth, leveraging his extensive knowledge of EU innovation policy, advancing CIE’s mission to accelerate the uptake of cycling and strengthen the cycling ecosystem across Europe. CIE is positive that with Walsh’s leadership, it will continue to have an instrumental role as a key stakeholder in shaping EU mobility and industrial policy.
