Pashley launches Roadfinder range, seeks new brick and mortar dealers

Pashley has unveiled its all-new Roadfinder collection – a performance-focused, hand-crafted, platform designed to enable riders to choose between road, off-road, and any combination in between, all from one frame.

The Pashley Roadfinder collection consists of frame designs for both conventional and electric models with road and gravel-specific builds. The four model line-up includes the Roadfinder, Roadfinder E, Roadfinder X and the Roadfinder X E models.

Andy Smallwood, CEO, Pashley, comments: “The brief for the Roadfinder project was to develop a collection of extremely versatile bicycles that give cyclists the ability to conquer multiple terrains, journeys and adventures on one beautifully hand-crafted machine.

“From all-season endurance road rides, off-road gravel trails to bike-packing exploration, this is the ‘Swiss Army Knife of Bicycles’”.

A bike for all seasons, and most reasons

Clearly, versatility is key, with the new Roadfinder Collection offering clearance for multiple tyre options up to 45c alongside mudguard fixing points, front, rear, and frame luggage capacity, and multiple bottle mounts – offering riders the flexibility to create their ideal bicycle.

Pashley offers three standard spec variations and three resplendent colourways per model – in Azure Blue, Rich Burgundy, and Oak Green. Further options are also available for a classic finishing kit and colour-matched mudguards.

At launch, the brand highlights the new bike is “Designed, developed, tested and handmade in our UK-based factory in Stratford-upon-Avon” where the business “seamlessly blurs modern technologies, innovation and great British craftmanship with the introduction of 3D printed and laser cut elements at structurally integral junctures”.

  1. The Roadfinder E and Roadfinder X E frame uses a combination of Reynolds 725, 631 and 525 tubing with full e-coating corrosion protection applied before painting.
  2. 3D printed elements include: the signature seat-tube/top tube junction, removeable front mech hanger, internal cable routing guides and the Mahle activation controller housing and charge point.
  3. The frame also features a machine tapered head-tube allowing for a full carbon e-bike compliant Road/Gravel fork with tapered steerer with laser cut Mahle X20 compatible dropouts to complete the look.

Smallwood adds: “The Roadfinder collection perfectly showcases and builds on our heritage of artisan frame-building, appealing to all riders who appreciate true versatility, performance and the unique ride experience you only get from a high-end steel frame, built by hand using the very best materials”.
