We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Cycle Mechanic/Wheelbuilder. Whilst wheelbuilding ability would be desirable, we would also be pleased to consider a Mechanic who would like to gain these skills. Responsibilities of the position include the assembly of custom-built bicycles and wheels. Identifying faults, damage and wear. Liaison with customers on bicycle and wheelset specifications. Advising customers on repairs, and carrying out repairs, maintenance and general servicing. Preparation of cost estimates for the above and retail shop service.
The position is full time (40hr/wk) to include some Saturdays, although a job-share arrangement may be considered. We offer an attractive salary package commensurate with experience, the potential for overtime, 28 days pa paid holiday, a Company Pension Scheme and a generous staff discount programme.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified eBike mechanic with 5+ years experience, including at least 3 years in workshop management. The person will be proactive and looking to integrate themselves into a great community.
They will also have a minimum 3 years experience in workshop management . Senior mechanic skills, with experience of working with eBikes and eCargo bikes. Excellent team management skills. Ability to work autonomously, managing your own workflow in an efficient and effective manner. Ability to work well as part of a strong team. A fascination for transportation, with eBike knowledge. Strong and clear communication skills with internal team and external customers. A proven track record of working in a fast-paced team environment. Excellent organisational and administrative capability, with a keen eye for detail. Good understanding of online systems with strong IT skills. Experience with Citrus-Lime POS is preferred. Fast learner with good positive attitude towards eBikes and our environment. A charming, solutions-oriented personality with strong problem solving capabilities. Experience in an after-sales / customer service environment.

We are actively seeking proficient bike mechanics to join our team, to cover the Surrey area.
The responsibilities will include the servicing and repair customer bikes to the highest standard and with maximum reliability. Third party bicycle support including warranty work, bike builds and ready to ride deliveries. Accurately inspect, diagnose, and fix issues and faults in a required timeframe. Carbon Bike Inspection training provided. Provide consultation on correct maintenance and preventative measures to customers and the stock control on parts and consumables to be retained in van.
