Reid Bikes partners with Cara Trade to bring bikes to Ireland

Reid Bikes has announced a collaboration with Irish distributor, Cara Trade to bring Reid bikes to Ireland.

According to Reid, their collaboration with Cara Trade marks more than just a product launch, the brand says it reflects a shared vision for long-term success in the Irish market.

Reid has said that by aligning on core values such as affordability, quality, and customer-focused design, Reid and Cara Trade are laying the foundation to bring exceptional bikes and eBikes to riders across Ireland for years to come.

Reid, an Australian-born brand with headquarters in Poole, UK, is known for its “affordable and reliable bikes and eMobility solutions.” According to Reid, Cara Trade has been instrumental in making their products accessible to the Irish market.

Reid has also announced the arrival of the Reid Sphere, something they say is designed specifically for the Irish market, distributed exclusively through Cara Trade. Also available in Women’s Specific Design (WSD).

Designed for urban commuters seeking comfort and performance, the Reid Sphere is built around a durable Reid alloy commuter frame with a steel rigid fork for enhanced stability. It features Shimano SL-M315 16-speed shifters, a Shimano Acera M3020 rear derailleur, and a Sunrise 8-speed 11-40T cassette, providing smooth and efficient gear transitions for a hassle-free ride.

Caratrade are delighted to bring Reid to our Irish retailers just in time for the summer. 

We had been looking for something that matched the desires of our customers, Reid offer a simple hassle-free design process where we can design the bikes that suit our market and our customers at an attractive price. 

Later in the summer we will also introduce a range of Electric bikes at entry price points while again keeping the specification to what we expect, and our customer wants – Jon, Cara Trade.
