Ducati has launched the Futa All Road, a new version of the e-road bike designed for comfort and versatility.
The Futa All Road retains the sporty endurance geometry from its road-focused predecessor, the Futa AS.
As with the road version, the motor of the “All Road” is hidden in the hub. The battery is integrated in the downtube and the Ducati style with GP red accents and visible carbon accents.
The carbon monocoque frame (DU frame) is characterised by details that are aimed at aerodynamics and speed. The compact rear triangle with lower chainstays offers improved riding comfort with less air resistance.
According to the Italian brand, the weight of this e-bike is 12.4 kg in a size M.
The FSA System HM 1.0 motor in the rear wheel hub offers 250 watts and a torque of 42nm with five support levels.
With the FSA app, which is available for iOS and Android, the rider can call up riding statistics, the remaining range and the battery charge status.
At speeds of more than 25km per hour, at which the motor’s pedal assistance is no longer required in accordance with EU regulations, there is minimal perceivable motor resistance and the pedal stroke remains fluid.
The 250Wh FSA battery integrated in the downtube can be supplemented with a further 250Wh of battery power using the range extender to cover longer distances.
The Futa All Road is equipped with the SRAM Rival eTap AXS groupset, which is characterised by hydraulic brakes with 160mm brake discs, a wireless 2×12 electronic shifting system and Vision AGX30 wheels with carbon rims.
FSA K-Wing AGX Carbon handlebars developed for gravel offer improved ergonomics thanks to specially shaped contact points.
Its position with a 10-degree forward tilt not only ensures comfort and manoeuvrability, but also enables a more natural wrist position and a wider elbow position, which in turn makes breathing easier.
The flared shape of the handlebar arch increases steering control and aerodynamics. The cable routing is fully integrated into the frame.
The Vittoria Terreno Dry tires are ideal for mixed road and gravel use. The different tire widths of 38 mm at the front and 35 mm at the rear ensure steering safety and comfort on all surfaces as well as cushioning from bumps.
All Futa All Roads are enhanced with a bikepacking set consisting of three Skuad bags for the saddle, handlebars and frame.
These are made of fully waterproof material and offer storage space without compromising manoeuvrability.
This new model expands the Ducati product collection, which previously included the Futa AXS e-road bike, the Powerstage RR e-MTB (full carbon enduro), the TK-01RR (aluminium enduro) and the MIG S (all mountain).
The Futa All Road is available in four sizes from S (53) to XL (59) and at a price of €7,690.
Delivery throughout Europe will begin in June 2024.
Ducati will be exhibiting its models at the Eurobike trade fair in Frankfurt from Wednesday, July 3 to Sunday, July 7 (Pavilion 12, Stand C20).
