Rouvy shares invite to join Wout van Aert on community ride

Like the idea of joining a legendary cycling powerhouse on a no-drop ride? Not interested in mudguards and overshoes? Looking to relocate your cycling mojo in the face of January blues? Rouvy may have just the ticket.

Belgian cycling superstar Wout van Aert has announced a community ride on the indoor cycling app Rouvy – scheduled for 21st January.

The unique event offers riders of all levels a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to virtually pedal alongside one of the sport’s most accomplished athletes, courtesy of Rouvy’s partnership with Team Visma | Lease a Bike.

The ride, hosted on Rouvy, enables participants to connect with van Aert from the comfort of their pain cave while experiencing the thrill of riding through some of the most iconic virtual routes from around the world.

Van Aert, a three-time cyclo-cross world champion, multiple stage and green jersey winner of the Tour de France, and one of the most complete cyclists of his generation, expressed his excitement about the upcoming event: “Cycling has given me so much, and I love the idea of sharing that passion with fans and riders around the world. Rouvy makes it easy to connect and ride together, regardless of where we are. I can’t wait to see everyone on the virtual roads!”

Participants will not only ride alongside Wout van Aert but will also have the chance to see him during the session via a live stream on Rouvy’s Instagram account

How to Join the Ride

1.  Download the Rouvy app and create an account (or log in to your account if you already have one).
2. Prepare your indoor cycling setup to be ready on the day of the ride.
3. You’ll find the ride on the Rouvy home page in the app on January 21st, or follow the link here to see the ride info on the Rouvy website.
