SUM Solutions e-bikes added to Santafixie range

SUM (Sustainable Urban Mobility) Solutions, an Italian brand “at the forefront of designing bicycles for urban mobility” has been added to the product portfolio offered by Barcelona-based online retailer Santafixie.

The four-bike range – Stealth L, UCO Mid and UCO Plus, and  Alpa Cargo – which can now be found on the Santafixi website showcases the SUM Bicycle‘s aims – to design and deliver bikes which “not only make family transportation more fun and ecological but are also the ideal choice for the needs of logistics operators and trade.”

The Cavarzere-based business is focused on creating sustainable mobility solutions for families and businesses, with the aim of “contributing to the reduction of vehicular traffic, and promoting the intelligent use of urban space with solutions tailored to everyone’s needs”.

In sharing the news, a spokesperson for Santafixie comments: ‘We are delighted to include SUM bicycles in our portfolio. Their models not only represent a breakthrough in design and technology but also reinforce our commitment to providing eco-friendly and functional mobility solutions for modern cities, whether for individuals, families or even businesses’ says the  team.”

SUM – part of the Alete Bikes group – produces bicycles which aim to stand out through a combining modern design with robust technology, incorporating features such as efficient electric motors, Bluetooth connectivity and versatile charging systems.

With a production capacity of over 700,000 bikes per year, Alete Bikes has become one of Europe’s largest players in terms of volume. It holds a market-leading position in Italy and France and boasts a significant presence in Poland, Germany, and Spain.

In November of 2021, the business saw investment from Tritlantic Europe, a leading European private equity firm.
