Orbea has introduced the brand’s latest e-bike with the arrival of Muga, combining off-road capability, daily practicality, and intelligent design into one seamless experience.
Signalling the versatility of the Muga, the patented Adjustable Cockpit offers four handlebar positions, letting riders choose between upright urban cruising and trail-focused agility with ease.
The cockpit also includes an integrated dropper post, remote-controlled from the handlebars, to adjust saddle height on the fly—crucial for mounting, manoeuvring, or descending.
The integrated kickstand, protected rear shock, and advanced alloy frame construction
round out a design “built to thrive in rough conditions, while maintaining a sleek, city-ready
profile.”
Muga’s frame geometry and suspension system are the brand highlights, directly inspired by Orbea’s mountain bike expertise.
This means 115 mm of rear travel “finely tuned for comfort and control”, featuring a Fox Float shock with lockout, while the 120 mm air-sprung fork “delivers responsive handling”.
Active Geometry has been designed to keep weight distributed perfectly between the wheels, enhancing stability and control. With a 29″ front and 27.5″ rear wheel combination, Muga remains agile, even when fully loaded.
Speaking of “fully loaded”:
Equipped with the latest Bosch CX motor, paired with a 600 Wh lightweight pack or a larger 750 Wh battery, Muga features Orbea’s Secure Battery System, keeping the battery locked inside the downtube—safe from damage, rattles, or theft. Extra range is offered with the optional PowerMore 250 Wh Range Extender.
The brand also highlights that the system also removes weight, meaning that Muga is one of the
lighter bikes in this category.
Muga is available in three versions designed to suit different riding styles and preferences.
All three models are available from launch in three colour combinations: Metallic Rust – Diamond Black, Ivory White – Black, and Blue Stone – Diamond Black.
Available in four frame sizes, combined with the adjustability of the cockpit, the brand has sought to create “a versatile bike that delivers for riders of all sizes”.
