Ribble launches the Allroad AL and Allroad E AL

Lancashire-based Ribble has introduced two new additions to the brand’s Allroad family, with the arrival of Allroad AL and the Mahle X30-equipped Allroad E AL.

These new models feature aluminium frames and use aero tube profiles “inspired by Ribble’s top-end carbon models”.

The choice of frame material means these new AL models offer the versatility of the Allroad range at a price point more accessible to riders than previously.

At launch, Ribble points out that Allroad AL and Allroad E AL are “designed to meet the demands of everyday cyclists”, which means engineering bikes for the harsh UK roads and year-round weather – think tough, comfortable and ready for anything: commuting, winter training, sportives or weekend rides.

Specs and upgrade options

The Allroad AL is available with both Shimano Tiagra HRD and Shimano 105 12-speed groupset options, both featuring DT Swiss G1800 wheels and Pirelli P7 32mm tyres, and a Selle Italia Model X saddle as standard.

Riders also have the option to upgrade to Hope RX24, Vision SC45, or Mavic Cosmic S wheelsets, as well as Ribble carbon round (RB2) handlebars and Selle Italia X3 XP Lady Boost Superflow, SLR Boost Superflow and SLR Boost Superflow Lady saddles.

The X30 e-system comprises:

iX2 battery – This 237Wh battery can be complemented by an eX1 (171Wh) for extended range.

HMI – Allowing users to adapt their ride with real-time terrain sensing.

Torque / PAS sensor – AI-driven torque sensing adapts dynamically to riding style and environment, achieving a tailored experience.

The Allroad E AL is also available with both Shimano Tiagra HRD and Shimano 105 12-speed groupset options, both featuring Mavic Allroad X30 wheels and Pirelli P7 32mm tyres, and a Selle Italia Model X saddle as standard.
