On Target Earnings: £Uncapped Commission

Founded by a passionate cyclist, CAMS’ team shares this enthusiasm, with all our Business Development Managers coming from the industry or professional circuits. As part of Anexo Group PLC, we manage the entire claims process for cyclists, providing comprehensive support from start to finish.

Your role 

As a Business Development Manager at CAMS, you’ll play a crucial role in driving our business forward by developing new relationships and maintaining existing ones. Your focus will be on engaging with cycle retailers, industry brands, and professionals to raise awareness and grow our business.

This is a field-based sales role, equipped with a company car and bicycle, allowing you to visit potential clients and partners. You’ll be the face of CAMS in the South West helping local bike shops deliver our unique 5-star service to their customers and ensuring cyclists receive the support they need after an accident. This role offers significant job satisfaction, knowing you’re helping cyclists access the justice they deserve.

This is a performance-driven role with industry-leading commission, bonus, and benefits schemes.

Your responsibilities 

  • Generate new business opportunities and prospective clients by targeting all possible opportunities 
  • Acquire and maintain a thorough knowledge of the industry and our service 
  • Take ownership of the full sales process from generating leads, selling the service, negotiation and closing 
  • Build a strong network of relevant opportunities to deliver against targets 
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of our service and industry by working closely with our trainers and colleagues 
  • Attend events to network and create leads and generate new business 

Essential skills 

  • 1+ years sales experience
  • A passion for cycling in any form 
  • Ability to communicate at all levels in an influential and persuasive manner 
  • Strong commercial acumen 
  • Proven track record of meeting sales targets 
  • Excellent selling skills built on trust a reliability 
  • A full UK driving license 

Desirable skills 

  • In depth knowledge of the cycle industry in your area 
  • Knowledge and contacts in the cycling racing scene in your area 
  • Knowledge of the cycling accident management industry 
  • Knowledge of the insurance industry and processes 
  • Knowledge of the civil justice system
